General Manager (On-site)

Expected Pay Range: $40k - $65k DOE

We are seeking a motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of American Paintbrush Sign Shop. The ideal candidate will be a resident of Laramie, Wyoming, committed to remaining in the area long-term. While prior experience in the signage industry is beneficial, we are open to training the right individual who possesses strong managerial skills and a passion for business leadership.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of sign shop operations, including production, design, fabrication, and installation.
  • Manage a team of designers, fabricators, and third-party installers, providing guidance, support, and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth, expand our client base, and increase profitability.
  • Monitor and optimize processes to maximize efficiency, minimize waste, and ensure timely delivery of products to clients.
  • Maintain strict quality standards, ensuring that all products meet or exceed client expectations and industry benchmarks.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact for all inquiries and concerns.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and incorporate relevant advancements into our operations.


Production Manager (On-site)

Expected Pay Range: $35k - $45k DOE

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Production Manager to join our team and oversee the efficient operation of our sign shop. The ideal candidate will have a background in print production, with some experience running large format printers, and plotters, and managing various substrates. Additionally, the Production Manager will be responsible for inventory management, order fulfillment, and maintaining our online store via Shopify.

Job Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain large format printers and plotters to produce high-quality signage and prints.
  • Manage print production workflow, including scheduling, prioritizing jobs, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Order supplies for print production and maintain inventory levels to support ongoing operations.
  • Organize and manage print supplies to ensure efficient use and easy access for production staff.
  • Supervise and assist production staff in applying prints and vinyl to substrates, vehicles, walls, etc.
  • Oversee the maintenance of our online store, including fulfilling orders, managing inventory, and adding new products.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure accurate order processing and customer satisfaction.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs or maintenance as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to uphold safety standards and efficiency.
